so, there i was carefully reassembling my hotted up ht, when i saw something! glad i had a spare or two

That's crazy mate.

Hey tell me what are you going to do.

Replace the rod and reassembly the crank, perhaps send it to a machine shop to get it trued.

Or just get another crank assembly.

swapped it over for another one from an old junker... too much effort doing anything else and even that wore me out
