Crankshaft washers

Rebuilding engine. Swear to god there were washers on the sides of the crankshaft.

Anyone know where I can get reference pdf pictures? The tear down ones provided do not show...

One of mine had shim washers on the crank to keep it from moving on the bearings. If you swear you saw them and later lost them (I did the first time I opened one of these) then you may want to find a suitable replacement..

several types of spacers can sometimes be found on both crankshaft and drive shaft, but not always

not sure of this is due to factory saving time to reseat everything all the way, or if tapers at shaft ends are off, or some other problem

in a good factory, all these should be the same - when I find spacers, I usually put them back when done, but not always if fit seems better when work is done
