Does the 4G 80 tooth belt drive still have bearing issues?

From what I've read around 2014 or 2015 the 4G belt drive that used the 80 tooth pulley had bearing issues as opposed to the 100 which didn't as it was differently designed. Is this fixed now or still the same?

I am talking about the bicycle-engines.com kit

Bicycle-engines.com might have overstock of the older stuff, but I doubt it. If in doubt visit grubee.net but it looks like they are out of the 4g 1A https://www.grubee.net/collections/4-stoke-bike-engine-items/products/4g-model-1a-transmission for the moment...but they ate still available with a kit minus engine https://www.grubee.net/collections/4-stoke-bike-engine-items/products/4g-model-1a-comp-lete-kit its about $50 more but you get spare parts for cheap .
