Ok I pulled the 142f from micargi. Predator 224 is soo close it aggravates me.

Look how nice this sits in there. The engine mount has not been moved from having the original 142f engine in it.

See how lil I'm lacking. Dam valve cover wont fit!!!
Man I hope I can fudge the engine mount ever so slightly. Heres a couple pics. Throw some ideas my way on engine clearance issues.

Thanks.

I picked this up reasonable 2day. It's got a new 224 predator with about 2 hours on it.

So the 224 engine is for the bike & the go kart frame is just a bonus.

If you were to unbolt the motor mount plate from the blocks on the tubes and turn it upside down it would lower the engine about 5/8 inch. You will need to trim the edge on one side which may (or may not) require strengthening.

Can you get the rocker arms on now? If so could you modify the shape of the cover to clear both the rockers and frame tubes ? Looks like you'll be removing the engine to set the valves and change the oil. Drainzit makes a 90* fitting and short hose to fix that. Call Dan @ 208-916-6204. These are just some thoughts based off the picture. I wouldn't know for sure without being there. Good luck.

You can probably adapt the one you have.
