Well I was really trying to fit a 212/224 in the frame without cutting it. I think I can!

I will build a new "bolt in" engine mounting plate if its needed. So I might need to weld a new mounting plate up.

It's just a 1/2" of being too small a frame triangle. But I could weld the oil drain hole shut & mill a "U" in the engine block. I got a better idea, but part of the seat down tube will be cut out. & a new 1 fabricated.

If you end up cutting and hackin' it makes the most sense to remove the tube in front of the engine. Then you can reshape the new one and move the motor forward. On my rat bike I made my own motor plate, notched the seat tube half way through and slid it in there before welding it. I personally do not like the clamp on mounts, but realize not everyone has a welder.

OMB magnetic oil plugs do not stick out like the stock ones do and I know I have seen low profile valve covers for the 212 but don't remember were.

You can angle it any way you like, you just have to make a new intake.

How hard is that on parts? I mean cause of oiling issues? Its splash oiling, & I've never mounted 1 other than flat.
