Yep it's been drilled & tapped to O-ring thread as well.
All the cart guys I know just run the screw in, no tap. I think along the line of breaking it down for improvements, you end up with the screw left over.

Try the 212 in that position first, sacrificial.

I'm going 2. That engine I've been using in my pics, is a new 212.
 
My 142f is 15* up toward the front of the bike and oils just fine. If you ever have your side cover off you'll see how the slinger scoops up oil and what the level might look like. I think dropping the top end will be advantagous for capturing this. You might be able to enlarge the drain back and pushrod holes making it easier for the flying oil to get up there.
 
Looks like fun in an aggravating sort of way.
200cc on a dirt bike is quite powerful. On a bicycle must be fun.
Industrial engine powered bikes are like old world motorcycles: all torque no revs. Pulls like a tractor and accelerates like one too. Maybe I'm wrong but I like screamers more than thumpers.
