Monster 90 primary drive issues

My monster 90 kit came with a #40 chain
A 22T rear sprocket and an 11T centrifugal clutch. The problem is that the chain runs over the rear sprocket smoothly but binds on the clutch sprocket. I’m guessing that the clutch supplied in the kit has #35 teeth?

Can you find a new sprocket for the rear to take a 35 chain?

That is probably the way
I was hoping to just replace the clutch for one with an 11T #40 sprocket. Maybe find a $30 ebay special?

Got a picture of the sprocket on your clutch? For some reason I thought they were fixed.

I know your in the setup stage...make sure you have spacers to take up gap between clutch and plate and 22t and plate. Don’t just stack washers they can eat into the shafts.

I did run the #40 chain individually over each sprocket the rear was smooth but the clutch Sprocket was binding. I then ran a # 35 chain over it and it was smooth basically answering my question. Wrong clutch in the kit from gasbike
