New Grube engine (Cylinder wall) Defect

Working on the front head stay mount, I removed the head and I looked down the bore and saw what I thought was a black spec of oil.
I went to wipe it out and found it to be a small hole in the cylinder wall!
I have not even started it yet! Glad I found it before I started it.
Contact the vendor and asked for a new cylinder and rings.
Should here from them in the morning.
I knew these are cheap engines but that is just Bad QC...

Just goes to show ya, that no matter where you buy a engine they can have defects, and problems. Now for a warranty.
