Older style Raleigh 3-speed looking to motorize with 49cc motor

I recently bought an older Raleigh 3-speed bike, which I'd like to motorize with a 49cc motor. I live in Virginia and anything over 50cc requires a motorcycle license, which I'm n ot interested in. If anybody has any experience with this type of project your advice would be greatly appreciated. If a picture would help, thats not a problem. Thanks in advance.

If it's a 3 speed in the rear hub you'll have trouble fitting the motor sprocket on the wheel.....may have to make the sprocket hold bigger ...which is a pain less you have the right tools....
