Problem with throttle, locked on full throttle, help!

throttle cable slot to pin, angled slot to idle screw.

hiya folks

Hello so Im having the same issue... motors stuck on full throttle but i still have plenty cable/play left in the throttle handle i checked the slider and it seems to be in the right way, i checked the handle and its all in order my idle screw is turned down... i have no idea what else to do. Please help...

Hey crassius i just double checked my slider because ive gone over all the potential airleaks and such anyways long story short the slider goes in the right spot but the second i pull the throttle it spins around? i have no idea why it would do that either

Ok double checked that as to not sound like an idiot... the second i pull the throttle above the idle screw notch the slider pulls a 180 inside the carb.. any ideas what could be causing this?

Problem solved the slidr pin throttle cable side was chipped/broken had to push it in more from the outside but now its holding the slider from spinning
