Rough running

Sorry, in an earlier post you made it sound as though the seal could have just been seated incorrectly, so I figured there's a chance it could be reinstalled correctly. I dont consider myself the best at this, so I'm asking a lot of questions.

If it had "caught" on the lip you would see that it wasn't sealing/fitting correctly.

note also that left & right seals are diff thicknesses when you order

Gotcha. The order is placed.

All the parts came in yesterday. I got it together today, but now it wont start... The only thing I messed with is the magneto and main gear, is it possible to put the magneto together wrong?

yes - flat side goes toward motor

Okay, I checked the magneto- It looks to be correct. I'm stumped as to what else to check. I checked all the stupid mistakes I usually make, but it looks like I even remembered to put the spark plug boot on this time...
