Hello,

I've searched the forum for this info, but had not luck finding anything.

Does anyone know the typical RPM's of these engines?

idle RPM?
crusing RPM?
WOT RPM?

Interested in the crank RPM, not the output sprocket RPM.

Thanks

Because every engine is slightly different to begin with then set ups vari it's hard to say what any given engine will be turning we can only guide you with ball park estimates. So idle can be from 800-1100 rpm,The cruise rpm or sweet spot where the engines like to run the smoothest is around 5700 rpm,Then for WOT that's alot harder to say because again it will be affected by the set up used,These engines can turn 11,000-12,000 rpm if you want but they dont like it much and tend to beat them selfs up but turning upto 10,000 rpm makes it last much longer.

I’m at the tail end of my break in right now and my engine likes to idle at 2100... sweet spot around 5900 and at WOT it’ll peak at maybe 6400. Granted, I’m running it rich and my oil fuel mix is 18:1 right now.
