A bitter sweet ending to my 6 month deployment to another hot dusty place. I get to go home to my family, but had to sell my beloved bike. If I was going back to a place that had more that a few months of good riding weather I would have sent it home, but Germany is known for its cold, snow, and rain. I would not feel right keeping such a machine garaged for most of the year.
I thank all of you for your help, both those who actively posted answers to my questions and those who shared their knowledge throughout this forum. I spent many hours reading these gems of information to build the fastest bike on the base (60+ KPH). I will come by to lurk from time-to-time as I ponder what I will build when I finally move to a warmer location.
