I do have one engine with a stuffed case.
It starts like a champ, idles dead steady and gained low end torque at the expense of speed and top end power.
We always lose primary compression with case porting and any time we remove metal.
The balance is "did we gain flow and volume?"
Theory and conjecture only carry us so far. Gotta experiment to be sure.
