Hello Everyone,
I've been scouring the depths of the internet trying to find a cylinder/head arrangement like what I got stock. My head is fused to the cylinder as 1 part and is held down with small allen bolts where the studs usually are fitted. It has a squish band but way less cooling to the point where I had to passively cool it with copper tubing and water.

anyone else seen this design??

seen that in a thread here somewhere a short time ago - think it was a new model of 49cc

Mine is the fm80 crank, type b piston, 80cc. Does anyone know anything about these or are they just too new?

the BT80 has had them a while, but few here like it due to other concerns

info about where you got it might help

Hi-autopia

I don't mind it, but I can't find anything about it anywhere. I make pretty decent power even though my exhaust is not tuned at all. I'm trying to make thinner bottom cylinder gaskets to shrink the squish band and raise compression since no one makes them. Ports are lightly raised but I'll require higher raising once the cylinder is lowered.

as with many ebay sellers - the pic in their ad is not a motor with one-piece cylinder & head

as you said, looks like you have very few cooling fins - avoid riding in desert

It threw me way off in the beginning. I may eventually swap but for now, I'm trying to make the most of the thing until it blows or I overheats next spring/summer.
