Oh really? im living in emporia, but my parents live in lyndon which is just 25 miles south of topeka and i go there alot. During the summer i usuall take my blazer up to the cruise in's on sat nights. It would be cool to check out what you end up building for this.
 
Skip, how are your tolerances? Those pistons looked pretty rough. did you salvage any of the rings? Man what a cool looking engine!!!!
 
tolerances are just fine, new rings can be like apple pie! Speaking of whitch- dont just gossip about old recipes and relatives......

oh sorry i got you two confused, i actually was talking to newinertia since you mentioned witchita, but cool your so close barbie.
 
I know this wouldn't be as fun... but I would find a good b-29 that needed that motor. Maybe some kids might get to see a real flying b-29 because of your motor.
