The pipe operates at a certain rpm band. Once you reach that point its called hitting the pipe.

Dirt bike pipe has a very limited rpm range, like 7000 to 9000 rpm, for example, where it functions the best. The scooter pipe has a little broader rpm range and is better suited for our bikes.
If you want the best pipe suited to your Minarelli setup then the Yasuni r is a great pipe it's not restricted for N.A. sales only the U.K and parts of Europe require that homogenized bs even if it did come with the restriction plate it's easily removed and will way out perform the cheap ebay/amazon jog pipes!
