Hey, I'm Jon,
I'm currently in school for a mechanical engineering degree and have always been fascinated with motorized things.
I have an old gas scooter I would like to use the engine off to build a motorized bike.
I found this site and everyone on here seems helpful and honest, not much flaming going on...

Bri,
It's an old mosquito tiger that the rear hub seized up on and wrecked the wheel assembly. So i'm planning on taking the 40cc keyang engine (which is very strong and runs excellent) and put it on a bike. For now i'm going friction drive, but eventually i'd like to use the gear reduction box and drive sprocket that is on the scooter as well for a chain driven machine.
I just ordered the kit, so we'll see how it goes...
