Whizzer 2008 Ambassador

I bought a Taiwan built electric start Whizzer Ambassador yesterday. Has some problems. No gas tank. Head welded on.

Any idea if this is same engine as other Taiwan models and if so who might have a used cylinder and head.

I dont think the gas tank is the same as the bike models ?

Taiwan Whizzer ? | Motorized Bicycles

I ran across this engine which looks a great deal like my old whizzer. Anyone know if they are any good ? Head is WELDED onto the cylinder block. Did it come that way or was this something a user did ?

I don't know a lot about Whizzers, that frame looks factory made to me. Flat engine plate, shocks, steering neck, rear swing arm etc. If that's pieced together, they did a good job from the pic that can be seen.
