Photos & Bicycle Builds

Pictures of motorized bike projects and bike builds. Vote for the best build!
I got tired of the flimsy mounts that come with rear mounted package carriers, so I made my own. I started with a scrap of 1" galvanized water pipe, and a scrap of 1/4" cold rolled steel. I'm thinking that the vibrations won't kill this one. The pictures should be self explanatory.
Hey guys, after meeting this community and completing my first build through your guys help I decided to start an instagram page devoted to shouting out other bike enthusiasts and their custom builds to bring awareness to this hidden hobby. If you guys could please stop by and check out my gallery I would be honored anything above that would be a bonus. Thanks for all the help and getting me addicted to such an amazing hobby! This is an early Terratrike with drum brakes, an SRAM DualDrive 3×7 rear wheel. Modified kingpins with machined pivots and 16mm bushings to correct OEM crappy hardware, its rock-solid at 30mph. Added Big Apples 2.0, Terracycle chain idlers, lights bags horn blutooth stereo speaker. Electrified with Bafang BBS02B 750W version. DPC18 display, 48V 17ah battery. Brake and shift sensors, headlight taillight. All wires sleeved, junction box under boom. I did buy the programmer loaded software on laptop, loaded Karls Special Sauce into parameters, modified it a bit for longer gaps with shift sensor, slow starts, limited max current, some variation in the 10 tables of PAS assist, throttle response, so lower levels have less max throttle...

Ok fellas,Demon back again with updates and more questions... I know,I know, more dam questions. Can't this Kidd give it a break? Short answer... Hell no i can't. So,let me give y'all the up dates first. I have the bike like 98% complete. The front cog has been switched out,no problem there. Just need to finish moding the teardrop tank and re bending the exhaust pipe to diy alongside the bike like i want it. Has that's all i have left to do on it. I would have taken it for a ride yesterday except for the fact that the effin thing won't start. So here is what i do know, 1 I'm getting spark. And 2 it started for a couple of seconds but as soon as the starting fluid ran out,it died and it would not start again nip matter how much either i...
All the pics from my first build my wife had on her phone. Was totaled the day before Halloween. It is a 66cc off the Wish app on a 700cc Trek 6speed. It was tall even with the seat all the way down anyone under 6 foot would have had problems on it. It was very fast was terrible on bumbs and the stock brakes sucked.
Good start. The 1960s era huffy forks worked well for the base. Need to figure out if I want the headlight elevated slightly above handlebars, mid range or head tube level. After those brackets are tack welded I'll finish the welds, grind and file them and, move on. Happy with the results so far.
Hello all! I'm getting ready for my first motorized bike build and I need some help. I'm a big guy and I live in a very hilly state WV, so I'm looking at a Genesis Onex Cruiser 29 incher with a 50 tooth rear sprocket and an 80cc 2 stroke kit. Is there any problems with this combo? Also and this is a big one, is there a substitute for the UGLY!!! gas tank included in the kit. I'd like to stay around the $25.00 price range. I love a long tear drop or even a cylinder shape would be an improvement. Thank you.
After having my 66c flying horse engine throw the crank balancer into 3 pcs I decided to order another Grubee 66cc as a replacement. I set it up in a Supercycle Cruiser frame which fit perfectly. Once set up I took er to the alley and she fired up on the third try.But as most members here I have a crb issue that I am working on. The engine has great power but will not idle. Yes I have read the threads and checked the intake and exhaust connections which are all good. I have played around with the idle screw, cable adjustments at the carb and throttle but no change that allows it to idle on its own. I cut the throttle cable down as it was to long and have a feeling that the Cable housing maybe be too short not allowing proper pull ...
Hey there starting my build and have some parts laying about an shift kit I just got, a 66 angle fire from gas bike stock, and a set of 24in rims I built for an e bike project that never happened the wheel set has a 9 speed 11-34 cogset and I have a sram derailer and a set of Clark's or something like that 160mm disk breaks, can anyone recommend a frameset preferably not a cruiser preferably steel.
