Found these cheap at a yard sale. I replaced my nylon ones with these heavy leather bags.

Nice Saddlebags

Nice leather black saddlebags with tassels. Very authentic.

the mirrors are attached in ends of the handlebars. never seen that. you like it?

Isn't the bike a little small to ride comfortably?
 
Actually even though I am not a large person, the bike is small. I have a second OCC that has the standard hi-rise bars and it is more comfortable.
However this one has a spring seat and seems to be ulta dependable(which makes it my favorite cruising bike).

uncomfortable to ride? that bike is much bigger than mine is and mine is very comfortable.

If your knees hit the handle bars it's to small. I notice you have hi-rise h-bars.
My guess is pedaling for any distance is hard on your knees, even harder if your 66!
