Drunk friend, decides that half an 8 ounce bottle didn't seem like enough oil in the bottom of my .26 gallon tank. So screw it lets add all 8oz! 4:1 fuel/oil.

Yeah he drove it a couple miles, drunk, in the dark with no lights on running 4:1....plenty of lubrication im sure but she had to have been running lean! 20% less gas!

yea ..sooner or later , probably sooner you are going to have a severely damaged bike and possibly a severily damaged friend..you might damage him youself after he wrecks your mb

its amusing when you stop to think that increasing the oil content actually leans out the fuel mix...less fuel and the oil aint meant to burn!

funny story...wont have any long lasting effects though, unlike say, drunk friends that ride into drains or gutters or such like things... dropping it under a truck would be good...

model rc engines run on what would be 4:1 mixes...16-20%oil....

Yeah if he did such a thing he would've learned his lesson in road rash. Unfortunately though it would've been at the expense of my bike.

Yeah a buddy once took my keys, ran out side, jumped on my motorcycle, drove across the parking lot turned around pulled the throttle all the way back, ran into a menu board at the Wendy's next to the bar we were at. F'd up my handle bars, scratched up the side, broke his foot, damaged the cardiledge in his knee.....Good thing he didnt know how to shift gears.....HAHAHa had to take him to the hospital on the back of my bike cause he wouldnt let me drive him in his car becuse I had been drinking!!!! It was real fun to explain to his wife from the ER

Doesn't sound like a very good friend to me.. My friends respect me and my property, even when drunk.

Something to keep in mind perhaps.
