Hello all, I am an engineer and designer from California's SF bay area. I have been designing motorized bicycles for about two years now. I have always found forums such as this one to be very valuable tools in my engineering process. Now I feel it is time for me to become a part of the community and share my own knowledge. My credentials include; master: automotive technology, and associate: computer aided design engineering. I also have a strong background in custom fabrication. I hope to bring a fresh perspective to the table, and help to fuel the personal transportation revolution! Besides, I think everyone should experience the awesome feeling of riding a well-running motorized bicycle. Thanks and I look forward to talking to you all soon

Welcome to MBc, Matt. Sounds like you have a great background and should fit right on in here. We sure are glad to have you. Please, do take the time to read the 'stickies', and notes from the admin...think of them as a sort of guide-post as you go thru...K? Again, welcome to the Forums at MBc.

Hi Matt
Looking forward to seeing the motorized bicycles you have designed
and what you are working on now.

What do you think about racing your bikes? Would love to meet you
at the Saturday Oct 22nd race in Apple Valley, CA.

There is a 50 cc and under 4 Stroke Class for your Huasheng.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I am not very good with photo records, but i do have a few pics floating around. i will post some soon for you all to see.

Racer, I do enjoy racing other peoples bikes. It's a great way to develop higher performance machines, and it is also a blast, win or lose. Apple Valley may be a bit far for me, but you never know what will happen. Are there many race days? Do they ever happen in norcal?

Motorized bicycle racing is new to California. There have been
races in Arizona.

The first ever California race for only motor bicycles was on
June 18th 2011 at Willow Springs Raceway.

The next SoCal Motor Bicycle Race is on Oct 22nd 2011 in Apple
Valley. There are riders coming from Sacramento and the San Jose
area as well as Arizona.

One of them Easy Rider is a member here and does race his 11 hp
water cooled Boxer Morini on tracks in the San Jose area.

Hope to meet you at the next race event and looking forward to
seeing some pics of your bikes.
