Hello
I just got my 80cc motorised bike and put it all together and it ran for 20 minutes having like 2 minute breaks each time until I took a longer break only like 5 minutes and went to start it up again but it wouldn't start I would pedal like 5 mph somtimes 10mph to test and hold the clutch while i'm doing it then I let go of clutch and pull throttle and the chain just stops moving making the back wheel also stop.

worst case is not enough oil in fuel and it seized - otherwise, it is just something jammed up and removing drive cover & clutch cover should let you see where it is stuck

I have looked into my motor and the piston is not moving which is causing the chain not to move. Does anyone know how to fix this?

how much oil did you put in for first ride? seems you have seized the piston probably overheated . try pouring some oil into the sparkplug hole and see if it frees up , then remove cylinder to see whats damaged probably need a new cylinder piston and rings

I could already get the cylinder out and I moved the small cog and it freed it, after that I was able to ride it for around 5 minutes then I got stuck again.

I wouldnt ride it until you find out the problem to prevent further destruction , when you took off the cylinder was there any deep scratches on the inside? What did rings look like? And how much oil did you add to your petrol?

Hello,
Just to update I have still not fixed the engine. I took the cylinder off once again and the crank seems to be stuck and not moving? I don't know if this has anything to do with the piston but it there a way I can fix this or do I have to buy another crank/piston?

you should remove the small bevel gear and see if it turns them - I've sen a broken tooth lock up a motor that was very hard to see when gear was still on the crank

use a hand impact driver to remove the slotted bolt, then use the puller that comes with the kit to remove the gear

when removing the bolt, I use a rag stuck between the two gears to stop it from turning
