Both the firestorms and the Runwell PK 80's with a G4 cylinder have decent port timing stock so for someone who is not planing on modifying the ports they are good choices. Contact Matt at BMW if your going with the PK80 to make sure you get a G4 cylinder with it.

Okay

In California you have to register motorized bike and have at least a m2 license it's gonna be at least 3-6 weeks be for I have enough to get the zeda 80 engine in the mean time bc I've heard that getting special plates for a bike takes a few weeks as well could I just fill out the form now and by the time I have the engine I'll have the plates as well?

PK80s have been better than the zedas lately. More even chrome plating, cleaner ports, and better factory castings for more power stock.

I'm not looking for 40+mph performance just something to help me get around the city I live in

My self ,I would suggest the bt 80 ,comes with pull start /electric start ,centrifugal clutch. So far have only gotten mine up to 25 MPH, but still working on breaking her in.but it starts everytime, and requires no pedaling to get started or going. It does require a wide crankset though

I'm looking to start slow and simple and then add stuff like pull/electric start

I may be wrong, still kinda new to this, and maybe some of the older builders might know this better, but I dont think you can add those later.

I've seen videos of people having them added to there 2 strokes

The pk 80 from bmw is probably the best kit out there right now and they have great customer service. If you don't want to do 40 then dont open the throttle all the way. Lol

then i am wrong ,lol isnt the first time clearly wont be the last IMO .but on a more serious note wouldnt it be easier / better to get a engine that already has what you want, then upgrade those parts as needed?
