Phantom 85

I don't have. Access or machine equipment. Just a Dremel jug saw a a DeWalt drill. I like the stock mount I've never had an issue with it other than the hardware bending. Even stainless the 8.8-10 grade hardened steel the black ones that impossible to break almost. I use 1mm shims to push the motor forward the front mount doesn't always like to cooperate and puts a edge onto the frame. The plate with 6 holes that uses u bolts is by far my favorite way to mount the front it nice and solid and durable it's just ugly with 6 fat bolt hanging on the bottom of the frame. I don't always have the stuff on hand to exactly make the engine sit exactly where it needs to be so the chain it exact to fit

Whoa wtf!
The fixed pin.... Accually needs a 12mm pin and bearing diesel Tech found the bearing... This is from the bicycle engines website... Big tutorial on how to fix the Edsel (phantom85)... 🤣

More like a Yugo...lol...My 1958 Edsel Citation was a great running car...lol.
I don't have any respect for bicycle engine .com... My wrong jug bent stud Zeda triple dropped ... I want the bottom end so I'm going to get more of those.... The dual sparker $10 more... And I have plans for the sparker a 14mm bung.. a propane tank and some exaust mods... possibly a video of lightning a joint off the china Rag...

That's where I found the link for them crappy piston boss bushings that have a seam. rdm has the solid brass one. Like I had said they're using a 10mm wrist pin

You guys are just going to make me buy a phantom 85. My fix/way gets rid of the bushings totally. Then you put together like a normal CG engine with a needle bearing & a 12mm pin. No bushings at all then to fail.

Problem is I have neither a drill press or the experience to do the balance. You can read and read all day long about stuff. It doesn't mean a whole lot until you actually put to practice. I'm aware of bushings exceeding their limitations. Race car do it everytime though er they have oil and pressure though. They even have oil sprayers on the formula cars now. Offset pistons they come out with alot of new stuff in the last 10-15 years.

I could stopped that meteorite from impacting earth but we needed oil.... Greedy bastard's
If you ain't building a racer, you can do the balance fine. Doesn't need to be spot on, it's a single cylinder, no such thing asa perfectly balanced single. It's a balance factor, you balance for the way you are going to run the engine.
