DO NOT INSULT THEIR INTELLIGENCE!!!!!
I've considered camouflageing the engine also but the first officer that hears and sees you doing over 50kmh up a hill without pedaling ?? is going to realise you've an engine and is probably not going to enjoy the fact that your trying to"pull one over on him/her.
IMHO, I think by trying to hide the engine, you're making it look worse than it is.
In other words, from someone elses view, It must be illegal!! Why else would he be trying to hide it??!!!??
This is just my opinion mind you.
I do excactly the opposite I put the engine where you couldn't miss it if you wanted to and have for approx. 2 yrs now.
, I've been pullled over numurous times and they appreciate the honesty aswell as the workmanship or so I'd like to think!!lol
I'm in Surrey and have found that If you ride responsibly and aren't making a spectacle of youself, you'll be alright.
Make it obvious that you're completely aware of your surroundings and that you are riding in a safe and mature fashion.
Helmet , lights , reflectors , mirrors, hand signals , etc. all these will go along way towards you recieving a little leniency.
This is just my opinion and this strategy might not work aswell for you as it does for me so do not be overly influenced. see what other fellas are doing to keep on keepin on
good luck
where in B.C. are you??
