79cc 4 stroke frame mount build

Does anyone here have BOTH the 2.5HP and 6.5HP engines? I don't have a 2.5 anymore, since I sold it to my brother for his trailer, so I have to ask.

What parts appear to you, that may swap between the new engines?

I'm REALLY wondering if you can put a 6.5HP carburetor on the little 2.5HP engine to make it faster. The muffler seems to swap already. Also, are the valve springs different sizes?

I'd be surprised if the carb from the 196cc would work well on the 79cc. It is designed for the bigger motor.

I do
When I get the 2.5 running, I can swap the carbs and see if it runs.
I doubt it will without some re-jetting.
I dont think this engine will need more fuel without modding the camshaft.
It would be funny to see a push trailer with a wideband o2 hooked up to it. :devilish:

frame mount.
direct drive
nice.
Are you gonna mount the engine so the cylinder slants forward with the output on the right.
Then run a JS behind it to swap sides and drive the rear wheel?

That is what I have been pondering....will fit in my frame alot better with cylinder pointing forward.
