crassius Well-Known Member Local time 7:44 PM Joined Jul 23, 2012 Messages 4,550 Oct 13, 2018 #4 it is unwise to run it without a muffler - if you have an old muffler around, you can cut it off so you have at least 6 inches or so of straight pipe there to keep cold air from being sucked back in
