80cc engine

my two-stroke will not run with the muffler on it. it runs without but has no power. anyone have an answer for this?

first step is to check compression, if good, then new muffler

compression checked. its good. even with the muffler off it has no power. how do i check the throttle needle?

it is unwise to run it without a muffler - if you have an old muffler around, you can cut it off so you have at least 6 inches or so of straight pipe there to keep cold air from being sucked back in

Check the air filter and make sure it’s not restrictive and you don’t have anything clogging the muffler. Try giving it a blowy
