Thank you thank you thank thank you. Unfortunately I had to go asm I couldn't find any m8 bolts long enough off the shelf so 5/16 it is. Also used coupling nuts to put more thread in the nut.

I'd take caution in mixing sae and metric.. 5/16 is less than a 10th of a mm smaller than 8, but the threads per inch may be different. Let us know how it fits, that m8 is a nasty find.

So far so good. Red locktited them seems to be ok no leaks. I like the coupling nuts. Way better than an acorn nut and many more threads than a standard nut.
