Hey all, clearly im the new guy here, received my kit for Christmas and have been working on installing it. It is actually going on an 24" bike, that threw some problems in there, but not too bad. I changed the spark plug to a shorter one and used a different plug wire with a rubber boot to make for easy install.

One problem I ran into is my kit came with a pull start on the motor. The pedal hits this so I decided to just order a new magneto cover and remove the pull start. However All the online vendors ive seen want five bucks for the cover, which is not a problem, however they all want to charge right at 15 for shipping!!! I know it doesn't cost that much, especially when the entire kit is shipped for 30. Does anyone know of a shop with reasonable shipping rates? Preferably on the east coast?

Welcome to Motoredbikes Jst!
I have a suggestion- put in a wide crank or bend the one you got to clear.
I guess the rope that comes with the kit is garbage too- replace it if you keep the pull start. It would be nice to have the pull start.
