I did this bike this morning and a part of another day. I guess it kinda looks like what Augie wants. Sorry but no motor on this one either, I made it for a friend of mine.

Ah yes, I already made it. It is a spin off of the iRide Brutus frame for a guy I know in Hawaii. He just needs to find the 24'' x 100mm rim! Know where to get one???

  14. Many thanks chopper I should be able to see their workshop from where I live. The bike shops they recommend are my local dealers also.

I thought this kind of hardware was only available interstate or the US and Canada!

You have made my day :p

    Check this site out also

No probs man, I actually approached them about building me a frame a few years ago, they're not really into 'commercialising' themselves, it's a pity, I reckon they'd sell heaps!
  16. Bugger!!

I edited my last post to a kustom crew in Melbourne.

Not sure if you know of them but they are not toooo far from you.

I almost bought a bike from them but they where good enough to tell me that the one I picked (a cheapie) probably would not be suitable to motorise.

I wanted it cause it looked good and it was great that they where honest and wern't in it just for the bucks.

I will keep an eye on their higher quality range so will still visit their site often in case I see one I like.

As a matter of fact, I just got off the phone with Augie and it sounds like it may happen shortly after July 4th if not sooner. What a story that would make...Augie riding his stock bike down to Oregon and cruising a full custom iRide all the way back. Or maybe me taking him and both of our bikes back up to Washington for a cruise...too much fun!
