Anyone Running Power THRU the Bottom Bracket?

Isn't standard American BB pretty close to 2" ID? Might be easier just to use another frame.
This frame is perfect for 212 engines. The BB I’m having made is 2.625” OD.
It's been a long build, I don't think 5-7 wants to change it now.
Yes, it’s been long.

I’m also working on my ‘57 Chevy, which distracts me from my motorized project.

2.028" ID American bottom bracket. There's a special retaining compound "Locktite 609" and primer "Locktite SF 7649" that is used for this type of application. I've never actually done this but the thought has crossed my mind with using the 2 inch bearings.
My BB is less than 35mm ID (1.38”).
I tried using 30mm ID external bearings, adapted to the 25.4mm shaft.

After assembly, I had a hunch that a single 7mm (.28”) wide bearing on each side would fail.

My idea is to use FOUR 2” bearings INSIDE the BB.
Each one is 14.29mm (.562”) wide.

That should work.
