Next 2 stroke build idea.

I didn't buy it to start this build. I have wanted one for a little while and just decided to pull the trigger. I am also infamous for just buying hard to find parts that I may not need, but have plans to use. If I can get them now, I get them now. The bike and the engine are the easy to source bits.

You forgot "wicked," "awesome," and "gnarly." I was also a fan of "Rad" and "Bodacious," but I grew up watching the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Don't you also have a heavy duty bearing SBP shift kit?

Looks like I started something there. How about, the bees knees? Way old. Jumping a few decades to the, cat's hind end? Note: tamed down for mixed audiences.

I tend to buy things because they are a good deal with the highest hopes of using then at some point. Believe it or not I often use them too.

The gist of this is, now with my E-bike being my main "conern" for riding my Phantom powered Kent Nazz is going to collect a little dust. Recently my girlfriends son - 15 years old and has an interest in bikes, cars, etc. expressed interest in my bike and was wanting to build one for himself to get to and from school, but being a 15 year old has a somewhat limited budget. He's a good kid and is trying to get a job near home so he can make some cash to build said bike. I talked to his mom and she is ok with him building a bike, so I am going to "sell" him my Phantom engine, fuel tank, and other parts that are on my Kent by trading his labor for them.
I've been meaning to ask you how the boy is doing with his 'New to him" Phantom now that he has got it on his bike.

So far so good. He listened to what I told him about the engine not doing well being ridden at full throttle like a teenager will want to do, and if he does so it will melt down and eat itself. I told him he had a leg up since I broke it in and did all of the work that I did during assembly, and emphasized that if he ruins this one he has to buy the next engine and start learning.

His mother still isn't a fan, of course, but I am very convincing lol. It also might help that everything but the frame and wheels came from my own parts collection. The wheels are the budget 26 inch spoke MB wheels installed on his old 27.5" Mountain bike frame. He bought the wheels and the rear sprocket for them.

His mother made him buy a good helmet on my suggestion and a set of knee and elbow guards (her requirement lol) and I gave him an old but good condition pair of MC gloves I haven't worn in a few years.

I think the big selling point to get her to go along with it was the practicality of him having his own option for getting around. He used it to go to a few job interviews nearby and got himself a part time job at the Target a couple of miles away.

I am trying to do my best, with his mom's help, to make sure he is doing the right maintenance on the bike so it doesn't fall apart on him. If it were any other engine I would be allowing him to learn lessons the hard way, but I also want to keep mom happy by knowing the bike won't fall apart on him.
