avenger 85 vs phantom 85

Any one else bought the BT 100 V2 ?? Was a bit rough going through the break in process, still kinda rides rough.

Ive heard alot of good stuff about the V1, not much on the v2 tho

I bet that carb/reed is a horrible match.

I wonder if it would run better without the reed, or did they timed it in such a way it needs one?

It actually did not come with a windowed piston at least not on my V2 I’m thinking that’s why it runs the way it does because it needs a windowed piston

Both engines have had their failures due to neglect and/or defects.

Both engines are above average in the power department.

Avenger has no defined warranty where the Phantom does.

I have an Avenger, but it's gathering dust since I got my Predator 224 bike together.

It's easy to see something that is more prevalent and been around a long time. Also easy to ignore the fact that Phantoms don't have anywhere near as many failures now that most of the issues have been sorted out. More than a few Avenger failures out there too.
