Is my chain too loose?

Yes and its very loose. Take a chain link out or/and adjust chain tensioner closer.
It should be stiff on the bottom and top with about a quater to half inch play up and down on the top side.

Now I took out one link too many, I have a heavy duty chain breaker tool, is it possible to use that to put a link back in?

Yes, bit easier if you didn't press the pin out of both plates though.

Ah jeez. What do I do now? Should I just get a whole new chain?

Or use a chain breaker and a master link, and don't install the master link backwards or the master link will pop off.
The rounded end goes in the direction of travel
Every motorbike owner should own a chain breaker set.
You'll buy a master link and a Chain breaker set after your chain pops.
Its kinda hard to peen over the little pins in the link so the chain don't pop off. After a few failures you might get the chain to work.

Can you pull that rear wheel back any?

It looks as though it can be pulled back an inch or so.

Do you have the anvils and such for your chain press? It's kind of an art but totally doable.
