Chain adjustment

Ok when I took my bike out for it’s first ride when I got back I had to adjust the chain Because it was a little loose. When I went for my second ride and came back the next day the chain needed adjustment again. This is the chain that came with the bbr kit. Is it normal to have to adjust it the first so many times out?

The chain doesn't really stretch per say, the pins wear in causing slack. After a few good rides, the wear in will stop and it will become stable. On mine it took three or four rides to settle down.

Are you using a tensioner? Can you post a picture of your setup

Went on my third ride now the longest ride yet and the chain was fine no adjustment needed. Still on first tank off gas.

No that’s where I had it adjusted to. It hasn’t moved

That is the typical 4 bolt kit tensioner, I just noticed it's on backward.

I always put a little twist in the bracket so the pulley runs parallel with the chain.
