Chain adjustment

Many of the kit chains are very very cheap and don't tend to last very long. I got to the point that I never even used the chain that came with the motors and just tossed them in the scrap pile.

No it came with the kit

That is the typical 4 bolt kit tensioner, I just noticed it's on backward.

How is it backwards?

I always put a little twist in the bracket so the pulley runs parallel with the chain.

I had to go look again, the ones I've used have the roller mount outside the frame. Yours has the slot cut in the other way, so it has to go that way.

Looks neater when there is just 4 nuts showing.

No worries. Just discovered that the camera angle made it look shorter than stock-Gearhead437
