Clutch pads

Just got some new clutch pads from amazon. These are the ones I was told to get. Most of them are black and white on on side and just black on the other side. Is this ok and should I put them in with a certain color facing a certain way? Is there any tricks to putting them in?

I think you want the black & white side facing out.

I just put them in like how it looks in this pic below...Always worked just fine for me...lol.

Just be sure to follow these clutch adjustment instructions to the letter when you put it all back together again.

Hello so i'm having some problems, after having to change some parts in my clutch, including clutch pads and etc, the clutch is always disengaged for whatever reason, i've tried adjusting the clutch spring that is inside, wont help, ive tried adjusting the cable also wont help, any more ideas...

Do you have to take the big gear that they go in out to put them in? Do you need the hammer to put them in?

I’ve never even seen under the cover where the pads are. I haven’t ever taken that apart before

I'm was bn funny! But no you should not need a hammer to replace your clutch pads.

A BFH fixes many problems,Navy taught me that.

I can't tell you how many things I fixed with my precision percussive instrument to fix things.

If they break, they needed to be replaced anyway.
