What a 'barn find'. This is a totally unrestored Whizzer (H series motor) in a Cleveland Iron Works rare Roadmaster frame. (Only 1,000 of these frames made.) $1800.00
Is it so pristine I'm not sure it should be restored. Pictures available:
bynes@mac.com
Also, have a restored '47 Doddlebug ($3500.00) and '60 Go Devil. (1,000.00)
Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Thanks

I think it is under the pedal crank on most early Roadmaster models. I have a 1948 Roadmaster [226WH]. Here is a picture of the 226WH.

Have fun,

My Whizzer looks just like (and in the same shape) as the one in your picture. If I were to sell it a the Davenport antique bike show, what is a fair and reasonable price?
I can't figure out how to upload a picture.
Thanks

Hi Bojangles,

AH, prices! I have turned down $2500.00 for my Roadmaster, and $2800.00 for my 1948 WZ, both are 100% original, not restored. A bike can only be an original once, whereas they can be restored hundreds of times. Most agree an unrestored Whizzer is often worth as much or more than a restored version.

Considering the changes taking place in the motorbike business, Whizzers appear to be climbing in value at the moment.

See you all at Portland, IN next week.

Have fun,
