How's it going? I ran across this forum started doing some research and found I could purchase a motor for a bicycle legal in ca. I was surprised at first but very excited. My first of Many many questions is about the motor kit. I read the threads saying buy the cheapest motor kit you can and others saying the Dax. I have decent mechanic skills and would like to build a board tracker one day but to start its a beach cruiser and what motor kit? Confused. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I would do something simple for the first build so you can get on the road sooner.
You can add a shift kit and other complexities later.
