help

i have ran my 80cc 2 stroke for a mile al ready, I tried to start it up earlier today, the engine really doesn't want to run and I found black sludge in the piston once I took the spark plug out, what is happening with it, is it because I ran it without the air filter or what , help please

No air filter is bad news. Unless your ring in a dust storm it's not going to waist your engine in 1 mile. Sounds like poor spark and rich fuel mixture. I would check compression, get a new spark plug, add a freaking air filter and make sure the choke is coming off and staying off. Some of the NT carbs choke levers have a tendency to vibrate and turn themselves on (that's what she said).
