How much do you have invested in your motorized bike?

Well, I use to ride a lot. :)

I put the first 1,000 miles on it in 6 months and after two years I was around 1,800 miles then it went down to a couple rides a year. This year I put a couple hundred on it.

Looking forward to the added acceleration this next year with the 10 T and more riding time!

I've managed to keep out of the wife's ire with the MB's by financing them with "play" money... money I've acquired by selling/trading/whatnot other things from my other hobbies... the key to increasing said "play" money is the find a hobby you can make money in... and when you do make money... split the dough 50/50... 50% goes to the 'house' fund... 50% goes to the 'play' fund. Once you've acquired enough 'play' capital in one hobby... it's easy to move over to other hobbies using said 'play' capital...

I've done that with my arcade restoration hobby. At one time, I could pick up a basketcase arcade machine for $100-$150... put a couple hundy in to it and sell it for $750...

Today? Everyone want's $1000 for their basketcase. So glad I got in to that hobby back in 2006... pinball is worse. Games I could pick up for $800 just 5 years ago are going for $3500 to $4000 today... the higher end is even crazier (A $2500 pin from 5 years ago is going for $8000-$9000 today).

:)

Wow.. did not know the games were that expensive now. I know a few friends that have old ones in their basement and I know they did not pay that kind of money. Speaking of, I bought a Pachinko machine 5 months ago not really knowing what it was but it was in absolute mint condition so I paid $100 including 1000 coins. Much fun for the kids and the adults and I did not realize what I deal I got on it until I started learning more about the machines.

Pinball… I caught these while they were still in circulation. Gambling..
I was so young and short I had to stand on an upside down milk crate to see the surface to play.
There was certain places with those machines where they turned a blind eye to minors playing.
5 cents per game…5 balls per game but you could put in more money to increase your odds….buy odds or extra balls.
I still remember those machines well and sure wish they’d come back.
With casinos all over the country I’m surprised they haven’t showed back up in some fashion. Poker machines are popular and in many businesses here.

About 675$ Into my bike including the pro taper grips, aftermarket gas tank, athena kit, etc, etc. I don't wanna know how much i've spent in total, if i saw it, i probably coulda used the money for a car. But hey, cars arent nearly as fun!

I really gotta get my pictures from my camera uploaded, I have one of my profile picture, but its in 8k resolution and its actually extremely focused on me. I got some nice snowy photos today, cant wait to take my bike out with the studded tires!

Those long straights look like a fun ride but happens if you have any sort of break down miles in the middle of nowhere.... especially if you're alone? Probably will not happen but it is possible.
You wouldn't want the wrong kind of help to stop....you may need a leather rifle holder mounted on that Whizzer traversing those parts....
It would just be another added ✨Bling✨ cost...
My Whizzer is registered as a Moped
My AAA RV/Motorcycle Roadside assistance said they would tow it if I broke down.

I've only had to be rescued 3 times in over 40K miles. I would call my old lady to pick me up
But now that were getting older she can't lift the Hitch Haul (Whizzer Wagon) and hook it up to the Jeep
So I'm really glad AAA said they will tow a Moped.

I mounted rifle would look Awesome but that alone would draw attention.
I'm not worried, It's the desert.
I run into weirdos when I'm close to Cities

Rusty was $142.30. Basically the cost of the motor, as bike was free since it was found in a field, then stuck some tires off on of the old mountain bikes on him.

Then the BBR frame was $588.42 shipped for an open box, and moved Rusty's engine over.

$730.72 for the bike and motor. Chain broke, bought a length and a box of half links. So another $21.24 for 10' of chain, and a box of 5 half links for $13.40. Luggage rack $28.88

$794.24

I think I've told ya all this before .but I found a crap bike in the woods but the weird thing was a full size boat was there to must of been there decades due to tree growth
