Hey guys,

Is there an adapter to run a rag joint on wheels like this:

Sorry, that's a poor quality pic, but you get the Idea. Insane number of spokes.

A guy wants to hire me to install a motor on a bike like that, as I have motorized a few other bikes.

Imo your best bet is a jackshaft

It should be usable with a single speed, make sure you gut the coaster brake system and use rim brakes

Looks like there's a 144 spokes on that wheel meaning they'd have to be a very small gauge spoke to fit that many in. There's also no cross spoke pattern on that wheel either. I personally wouldn't use that wheel with a motorized bicycle regardless of which side the engine would be driving it from.

That wheel looks more like a show wheel and certainly not meant for high torques or high speeds.
