It's been a few years. Too much has happened in my life. Lost my home essentially and living in an apartment. But Moop 2 has been with me the entire time.
This was when I first got it:
And this was when I converter it to the Happy Time:
Then I got on a health kick and removed my engine and converted it to a 3 speed.
That was that way for a few years.
But now I converted it to electric.
this is a 48V 1000W motor.
Notice how I put all the weight up front.
Found these water bottle bolt holes that you can position anywhere and clamp.
That battery is almost meant to be on top like that on these old frames.
Lost my newspaper rack in front but holding on to it.
And I didn't have to crimp or solder anything.
Now all the weight is up front because I'm at 250 pounds and that rear tire does not need any more weight so this is pretty balanced out.
Still have to drill a hole on that fork for my front brake simple side pull.
I'll only do like 15 tops.....I hope lol.
This thing has more pull than my Happy Time ever had.
It was geared high so I was comfortable at 12 mph.
But this just wants to go more.
It's so quiet too.

Montgomery Ward Open Road Newspaper Bike
Meatwad's right about the graphics. Definitely from the disco era.

Moop Two!!!!!!
I didn't want to do it,but I did. RIP MOOP. :( So many memories. So many mods. Even with that tractor seat after a while by back would hurt riding MOOP. Funny though when I talked to MOOP he was actually okay. I think MOOP is the engine more than the bike surrounding it. MOOP knows I'll ride him...
