I agree Chinesium. On the other hand the stuff from Taiwan always amazes me.
I was not Impressed with Taiwan's manufacturing of the New Generation Whizzer.
Problems with cylinder valve seats, cyl boar clearance, uneven cyl deck, and poor cyl aluminum quality. Problems with poor tempered metals of tappets, crank races and clutch shaft sleeve, Poor clearances, bad rear wheel hubs, questionable electrical wiring, miss matched parts from different model bikes, Just all around no quality control of their product. Some was good, some was was bad.
Bikes might have all these problems or only a few
With some American know how with upgraded, modified or good Taiwan and Made in USA parts
The New Gen Whizzer can be made bulletproof and a joy to ride and own.
I have had my 2005 NE-5 Whizzer for 15 years and she now has almost 38,500 miles on her
Taiwan -Specifications- Close Enough is Good Enough
