I just got my engine, how's the clearance between the piston and the head? Keep in mind there's also the aluminum gasket that's not included in the photo

I have the gaskets I would need to add space, between the bottom end and the cylinder base

Put the head and gaskets on and torque the head to 144 inch lbs, then squish a piece of soft core solder in the edge of the cylinder. Measure that squished piece of solder. It should measure from 1.0mm to .8mm

This is the solder I have, what do you mean on the edge of the cylinder? Through the intake or exhaust port??

What am I measuring? Is the solder supposed to be squished?
Yes. Put a length all the way against the edge of the cylinder wall (don't drop it in.) And rotate the engine fully so it fully squishes the solder. This is a way to measure the "squish gap" which will tell us if you need to add gaskets
