Where I've seen the majority of frame damage from only standard motor use is in front forks from electric hubs, just shears the tip right off. On any of the inframe chain driven motors, there is a large enough area of displacement of the torque that there's a fairly low risk of damage. When dealing with near any alloy you sacrifice strength for a lower weight, but still, that weight isn't a worthwhile tradeoff when compared to the weight of the bike, rider, and motor.
