Finished another build project "Rätte-Hengel" for my buddy Chris late last year and just now getting around to sorting out all the process photos...
Here's the pile of parts he provided and his original mock up photo. I really liked that old white 5HP Tecumseh but the shaft is cut so short as to make it all but unusable and you never know how reliable a old engine will be, so ended up using a new out of the box Predator 212 with a Mikuni carb.
Here's the before pic of the frame (generic late 1950's badge-less Wald)
Stretched the rear triangle 7", and widened it, and reenforced all the clusters with gussets to make it studier and a little more man sized.
Custom Indian/Excelsior style leaf sprung fork (before)
Springs from 1970's Ski-Doo snowmobile.
Heavy duty rockers 1970's chopper style.
